If you’re fairly new to photography, there is a great resource available from PhotographyCourse.net, which is a beginners guide to the photography basics.
It covers things like, A Photography 101, Digital cameras, Lenses, Understanding Light, etc. then, once you’ve got the basics under-your-belt, they also have sections for intermediate lessons and section on different specialties such as nature and sport photography. Best of all, it’s FREE!
The tutorials themselves are designed for both Film and Digital photgraphy, but if you want more information on Digital, they have that too on this page.
